Admission is free, but the Center is always grateful for donations and there is an entrance fee for entering the Khao Pra Theaw reserve area. The Center is open from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm every day except Sundays, when it stays open until 3.00 pm. The Center is located some 9 km east from Phuket's landmark, the Heroines Monument. Back in Phuket City there are many exciting things waiting to be discovered, among them the Phuket Trickeye Museum at 130/1 PhangNga Road in Chang Wat. This interactive 3-D art gallery is great fun. More than 95 trompe-l'oeil-style paintings allow visitors to become part of the "action". In the "Classic in Flam" section for example, art lovers can plant a kiss on the cheek of a rather fat Mona Lisa, inserting themselves into one of the world's most famous masterpieces. Or visitors can stick their heads down the throat of a gigantic snake, or watch a sinister mummy climb out of the water. Or they can surround themselves with a flock of bright blue birds that won't touch them with a single feather. The Trickeye Museum is open from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm every day.
